The late William Charles Littleproud founded the company back in the 1930's. The business is now run and conducted by William's son, Michael, and grandson, Paul - taking the company into it's third generation.
As an independent family concern, Littleproud's are able to offer a complete, traditional service at a reasonable cost. With over sixty five years of experience and commitment behind us we can ensure that no matter how simple or complex the arrangements, they will be dealt with in a dignified and efficient manner. When our services are required, we can guarantee immediate, personal attention.
Our offices and Chapel of Rest are situated in the quiet village of Bradenham which is approximately six miles from East Dereham, Swaffham and Watton.
Our services range from a basic simple funeral to a Victorian service with horse drawn hearse, a 'Green' Burial in a woodland cemetery or a non-religious humanist service.
We still remain a family owned and run business. We are able to offer a far more personal service than the large groups, at a reasonable price. It is advisable when contacting a Funeral Director to enquire as to whether or not they are a family business or part of a group. Many companies trade under a family name but are actually owned by large foreign-based consortiums.
As members of the National Association of Funeral Directors we abide by their strict Code of Practice. We are happy to provide copies of this Code of Practice upon request.
